Patience is a Virtue

Sometimes it seems like I've been waiting and waiting on things to just fall in place when it comes to photography- and after all these years I've finally realized that Patience is a virtue! Sometimes you just have to wait on it..... and eventually all the hard work and determination that you've put forth will make it all worth while and you will finally see that things happen in due time! What I'm referring to here is my love for photography- Although I've LOVED it for so long, and I've been complimented for my work more than I can count- I never really felt as if it was exactly "where I wanted it to be" ... I'm proud to say that over the past year that I've been working hard to learn.... by reading, doing workshops and online classes to better myself as a photographer- NOT that I think I will ever be EXACTLY where I want to be- BECAUSE I WON'T~ that's just part of being a photographer- but I've decided I'm committed to learn and to try whatever comes my way-  and I'm excited for all the senior sessions that I have coming up! Thank you all for trusting in me!  My fortune for China Buffet sums it up!

Between Those Walls

As we come upon the 2012 Graduation for Nicholas County High School- I to think back to my days as a student in that very school; although I wasn't a model student by any word I still have so many memories that I will never forget, some good some bad, but all of them made me who I am today, between those walls is what made me..... made me STRONG- so when I came across a quote I had written down many years ago and tucked in my wallet I thought it was fitting to share! Congratulation Class of 2012~

"If you can conceive it and can truly believe it you can achieve it, never let time or obstacles or pessimism keep you from realizing your goals because at the end of the day there's nothing that feels better than accomplishing a lifelong dream"

Wishing you all the best that life may bring- May God Bless each of you!

This little guy is so sweet!

I had a great session this morning with the cutest little fella, he was so sweet, and thanks to his Nana for blowing us plenty of bubbles to keep our little guy smiling. I just love these images. I cannot wait to share them all with his mom and Nana~ Looks like Nana will have to make room for some more photos on her wall.

BUSY AS A BEE~

WOW! This week has been so busy~ Have you ever heard the saying "I feel like I'm burning the candle at both ends" Well that's exactly how I feel, I'm going on very little sleep this week and also covering a co-workers desk and finishing up on senior sessions! Believe it or not I'm managing to stay on task and am determined to get everything done that I need to THIS WEEK!!!!  With that said I'm so excited to be this busy with photography. Reflections Photography is definitely thriving and doing well.  Until we meet again- Chow~

~NOW BOOKING CLASS OF 2013 SENIORS

Colin~ Senior 2012

What a great time I had shooting this senior, you would have never thought that he didn't really want his senior pictures taken. I had been "warned" that this was not something he really wanted to do, but because having senior pictures taken for the yearbook and for the memories was a MUST for his mom Colin finally agreed. By the end of the shoot he was adding suggestions; which I always love.

There were lots of favorites from this session. Mom is having a hard time deciding.
